Where do seed oils come from?Updated a year ago

Seed oils originate from the small amounts of oil present in seeds, which generally aren't problematic when consumed as part of the whole food. 

However, through the use of industrial equipment and chemical solvents, these oils are extracted and concentrated. They are then used in quantities far greater than what we would naturally consume if we ate the seeds in their whole form.
