Yes, the tallow comes from 100% grass fed cows.

Where does it/the ingredients come from?

MASA is made in the northeastern US by hand. Our corn comes from New England, our tallow from the midwest, salt from Utah, and spices from around the world.

What are the bags made of?

Standard FDA-approved food packaging called MET-PET.

Are there any preservatives?

No, there are no preservatives. However, the bags are packed with nitrogen, which reduces the oxygen in the air. This prevents oxidation and rancidity without altering the food's chemistry.

Why are there so few chips in the bag?

The bags contain the correct number of ounces of chips, but they are packed with extra air to prevent the chips from breaking during transit.
